Comet Drive Belts
-
YES....These are the original Comet Belts that you haven't been able
to find since Comet went out of business four years ago.
-
We
found the manufacturer that bought out Comet's belting equipment and
they are now manufacturing the same great belt that Comet did for
many years.
-
If you
ever compared other similar belts, such as JR Race Car's, to the
Comet belt you know that this belt is softer, stickier, more
durable, and has more grab on the clutch surfaces than any other.

MaxTorque PERFORMANCE 120cc Clutch (2400 rpm engagement)
-
THIS IS
AN EXCLUSIVE OLSON BROTHERS CLUTCH!!!
- This is an OEM stock replacement clutch that's been modified for your 120cc snowmobile
for better performance and uses the same brake band.
-
This clutch is stock
appearing but has an upgraded performance spring.
-
Excellent clutch for back-yard recreational riding.
-
At
Olson Brothers Dist, we want you to get what you need for the best
price. That's why we are the only supplier that offers you a choice in sprocket sizes for
your 'performance' clutch without making you buy them separately. 10
tooth #420 is stock and for every tooth increase on the clutch it's
approximately equivalent to a four teeth reduction on the driven
sprocket. In other words, a 13 tooth #420 clutch sprocket (3 sizes larger than stock) would be
similar to changing the driven sprocket from the stock 45 tooth to a
33 tooth (equivent 12 tooth rear sprocket reduction).
- Note: To use a 14 tooth sprocket you'd need the governor
bypassed and running on flat smooth terrain. Best use is running on ice or a
more frictionless surface.

MaxTorque 3/4" Drum
& Sprocket
-
These drum and sprocket sets are to replace the existing 10 tooth
drum and sprocket with your choice below.
-
If you want a little
more speed for your 120, you can change the existing 10 tooth drum
to a larger sprocket to increase top speed.. Each tooth change
on the clutch increases the speed by approximately 2 to 3 mph. -
If you are disabling
the governor you should strongly consider increasing the sprocket
size. If not, you may over-rev the engine. A larger
sprocket will cause the engine to work a little harder and keep the
rpm down.
-
Note: Although we work
very hard to keep our prices low, MaxTorque has revised their
pricing schedule and therefore we have been forced to make some
pricing changes. Although we have absorbed some of the cost,
the prices still needed to be raised slightly. -
Note: MaxTorque
discontinued the 11 and 12 tooth #420 sprockets and has no plan to
make anymore..

Briggs 206 Clutch
-
This clutch is configured to handle the extra low end torque the Briggs 206 engine produces. It's not a fancy, expensive clutch, but many people would be surprised to learn how many 206 racers are using this MaxTorque clutch…and winning. It's much lighter weight than any competitors clutches and therefore lessening the amount of rotating mass. The allows the engine to reach peak torque quicker while helping the engine acheive a rapid recovery if the driver lets off the throttle in corners. And all this at a fraction of the cost of our competitor's clutches. And lastly keep this in mind, the clutch is responsible for the start of engagement, the amount of slippage allowed until total lockup, and the rpm the clutch locks to the drum. Once every clutch is fully locked up, the clutch is out of the equation unless the driver lets off the throttle for a moment.
-
The sprockets for this clutch are all #35 pitch.
